Welcome to Paradise

 

Welcome to Paradise was created for my mother. Before my father passed away they had purchased/requested that the city put a bench overlooking the water in a little park area they used to walk to every day. I know that going to that bench now gives my mother a great deal of comfort. Therefore, I created a series of three 4 x 6 linocuts of the bench and the views taken in by an observer standing behind the "empty" bench.
