The Fritter

The Fritter

This is my first Blog attempt so bear with the relative crudeness of this endeavor, more a test than a true post. Regardless, I intend for The Fritter to be a place to share ideas about art, life, and yes... Donuts. Occasionally even leaning towards those rambling conversations and stories told whilst holding a lovely Caramel apple Fritter in one hand and a steaming creamy coffee in the other. Bliss, even if the conversation is crap. Although, that should rarely happen, defecation really isn't that interesting or appetizing a discussion. Where as the intricacies in finding and keeping in business a quality doughnut shop... is appetizing indeed. I am an artist, teacher, and believer in the oral pictoral and written story. Communication and information is fine, however, a good story makers things better, even if it is mildly inflated, debated, or just an outright lie or fantasy.

Ah yes the unfortunate capture of an individual by thier own suspenders. This is a tragrdy that has gone on for mush too long. Perhaps their needs to be a safety catch? Regardless, my thought of the day is as follows.
This Christmas it became apparent to such a large degree that it was imposiable to ignore further. When children no longer act like children. When they instead decide to be obnoxious little adult like creatures, it is then that the pets truely benifit. It is durring this time that parents, aunts, uncles, brothers sisters and so on decide to give gifts to the family pet instead. The pet returns to the giver with thanks and praises; the child/adult with scoffing, and resentment for the lack of coolness in the aquired gift. This year the cool gifts are electronics, and Toy stores are feeling the pinch. I would hazard to guess that the tills at the pet stores are humming along quite nicly this season.
Take some time, perhaps with a nice drink and a bisquit and this season maybe learn from your pet, cuddle up to a loved one or the nearest fire (or warm appliance).

I've regenerated an old idea which was stored in my brain for some time. It would work well with a group of say....artists and involes bringing big smiles to small children. I'm great with ideas but bad with applications so perhaps we could discuss..... let me know
